What to Expect

Welcome to Rochester Family Chiropractic!

Below are the following steps we will take together to establish you as a chiropractic patient. Please reach out with any questions.We suggest you download and bring the completed health history forms to your first visit appointment.

Consultation

Dr. Nicholson of Rochester Family Chiropractic will meet with you to review your health history, reason for care, and any related health issues. You will have the opportunity to have your questions answered, express your concerns, and discuss expectations and goals. Next, Dr. Nicholson will advise on if your condition can be helped by chiropractic, or if it would be more appropriately managed by another healthcare provider. Any patient financial responsibility will also be covered during the consultation.

Examination

Once chiropractic care is chosen, a thorough examination will be performed which includes standard orthopedic and neurological tests. X-rays are completed onsite when deemed necessary.

Report of Findings

Dr. Nicholson will present a review of your health history, examination and x-rays. You will get to see any x-rays, then Dr. Nicholson will give you her diagnosis and detailed care plan.

Adjustment Visits

Chiropractic adjustments typically take 20 minutes. Dr. Nicholson will explain beforehand what to expect for each adjustment visit. She is trained in various chiropractic adjusting techniques to tailor care specifically to your needs.
